Access Bank Zambia, in collaboration with the Workers Compensation Fund Control Board (WCFCB), has announced the launch of the E-Workers SmartPay solution on AccessPay. This innovative platform will facilitate the convenient payment of assessments and fees through the Bank's online payment platform.

The E-Workers Online Payment solution is the latest addition to the Bank’s expanding suite of regulatory payment solutions on AccessPay, which already includes eNAPSA and ZRA Tax Online.

Speaking at the launch in Ndola on Friday, 24th November 2023, Access Bank Zambia Managing Director and CEO, Lishala Situmbeko emphasized the seamless and efficient method that this collaboration with the Workers Compensation Fund Control Board will provide for customers and employers to settle WCFCB payments through AccessPay.

“The E-Workers Payment solution on our Internet Banking platform, AccessPay, is poised to revolutionize payment processes for many employers,” said Mr. Situmbeko. He highlighted that the launch is a testament to the Bank’s commitment to delivering more than banking and emphasized Access Bank Zambia’s dedication to future collaboration with the Board to enhance customer’s’ payment experiences.

Mr. Situmbeko further emphasized the Bank’s commitment to pioneering digital solutions, continuously exploring new and innovative ways to meet customers’ needs through strategic partnerships such as that with WCFCB.

“This partnership not only takes our relationship with the Workers Compensation Fund Control Board to another level but also reinforces our commitment to becoming a truly digitally-led bank. By seamlessly integrating technology and convenience, we are creating an unparalleled payment experience,” Mr. Situmbeko added.

Workers Compensation Fund Control Board Acting Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Christopher Chilembo echoed these sentiments, stating that the joint launch signifies a commitment to the longstanding business relationship between the two institutions.

“The joint launch is confirmation of the sound business relationship that exists between the two institutions,” he said.

Mr. Chilembo also highlighted that the E-Workers Platform will not only increase compliance among employers but will also enable users to print receipts on their own, ultimately improving business efficiencies.
