Access Bank Zambia Donates K100,000 Towards 2025 Mutomboko Traditional Ceremony
Access Bank Zambia has reaffirmed its commitment to cultural preservation and community development with a donation of K100,000 towards hosting of the 2025 Mutomboko Traditional Ceremony of the Luba-Lunda speaking people of Luapula Province. The contribution was announced during a ceremony held in Lusaka.
Speaking at the handover event, Access Bank Zambia Deputy Managing Director – Retail and Operations Bobbline Cheembela thanked the organizing committee for the opportunity to support the traditional ceremony.
“As a proudly African bank with deep continental roots, we draw inspiration not only from the services we provide but also from the rich heritage, traditions, and values that define us as a people.
“The Mutomboko Traditional Ceremony reminds us of who we are, where we come from, and the importance of celebrating our cultural identity while charting a course for a brighter future.” Mr Cheembela said.
Access Bank Zambia has been a long-standing partner of the Mutomboko Traditional Ceremony, demonstrating continued respect for Zambia’s diverse traditions and the role they play in national identity and cohesion.
