Mr. Sobrick Sakala has over 20 years of consulting and work experience in complex enterprise environments in the fields of business modeling, business planning, business analysis, product and system development, systems integration services, technology commercialization & operationalisation, data driven projects, programme, and portfolio management.
He has held different executive and senior management roles involving strategic planning, development, implementation and operationalisation of information management systems/ services across South Africa and Zambia’s leading financial and insurance companies including Standard Bank, Stanbic Bank, Old Mutual, Nedbank, Discovery, and Zambia National Savings & Credit Bank. Prior to joining Atlas Mara where he served as Chief Operating Officer before its amalgamation with Access Bank, Mr. Sakala worked at National Savings and Credit Bank in the same capacity, where he formulated digital driven transformation strategy and its operationalisation.
Mr. Sakala was previously Chief Information Officer at Stanbic Zambia, where he managed all IT Strategy and Operational Services. Prior to that he was Digital Portfolio Manager at Standard Bank South Africa, where he was responsible for the development and operations of the bank’s digital banking, messaging, and mobile payments.
