Ms. Sandra Malupande is a qualified lawyer with 18 years’ experience in corporate law and expertise in corporate governance. She is a skilled negotiator, drafts favorable, enforceable, and readable contracts and agreements.
Ms. Malupande joined Atlas Mara in 2017 from Airtel Networks Zambia Plc, where she was Company Secretary and prior to that Legal Manager. While at Airtel, other than providing company secretarial services to the Board, she provided legal counsel on numerous issues arising from actual or anticipated litigation and coordinated as well as managed relations with external counsel.
Prior to joining Airtel, she held various management positions one of which was that of legal counsel for a quasi-government organization, Rural Electrification Authority, where she set up and run the legal department, having worked there for 5 years.
Ms. Malupande holds a Master’s Degree in International Trade Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
