Ms. Anne Sampa is a legal professional with a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) and various academic and professional qualifications. She was called to the Bar in 1991 and began her career at H-P Women’s Development Company Limited, focusing on financing and administration. In 1993, she joined the Ministry of Lands as a Legal Officer, advancing to Senior Registrar of Lands & Deeds, where she significantly contributed to legal reforms that led to the enactment of the Land Act in 1995.
She served as Secretary to the Land Development Fund from 1995 to 1997, after which she joined Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc as Senior Legal Officer and rose through the ranks to become Company Secretary. Between 2017 and 2021, she worked on secondment as Commissioner at the Civil Service Commission of the Republic of Zambia.
Director Sampa is currently a Partner at Lynda Mataka & Partners and a Commissioner at the Small Claims Court.
