Mr. Njavwa Mulwanda joined the Access Bank Zambia Board in July 2021, prior to which he led the Credit and Strategy Committees of the Cavmont Bank Zambia Board.
He currently leads Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) in Africa and Middle East at Global Snacking Company Mondelez International. Prior to Mondelez, Director Mulwanda was at Goldman Sachs in New York as an Executive Director in the Industrials Investment Banking team. Prior to Goldman, he co-founded Zenga Venture Fund - a Sub-Saharan African Focused Merchant Bank in Zambia. Before Zenga, Mr. Mulwanda spent several years focused on Europe, Middle East & Africa Cross-Border M&A at Wells Fargo Securities in London and New York. He began his career in the Telecom industry at T-Mobile.
Director Mulwanda is a graduate of Georgetown University (MBA), Northwest Missouri state University (Finance & Economics, Magna Cum Laude) and David Kaunda Secondary School in Lusaka. In his spare time, he is an avid Tennis player that loves to travel.
