Director Njavwa Mulwanda was appointed a member of the Access Bank Zambia Board of Directors in August 2021 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the financial services sector both locally and on the international front, with 17 years of Corporate Finance experience.
He was previously a Senior Vice President in the Wells Fargo Securities’ Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) team in New York. Prior to New York, he spent three years in London, where he played an integral part in building out the Wells Fargo’s international team cross-border M&A efforts in Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
He has also assisted African, U.S., and European corporate clients on debt and equity capital raising of over $7.5 Billion during his eight-years as an Investment Banker that began in Charlotte, North Carolina in the United States.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Director Njavwa spent four years as a Senior Financial Analyst at Cartesian in Washington D.C. and Kansas City. He began his career at Sprint - an American Telecommunications company in Internal Audit and Financial Planning & Analysis. He received a dual degree in Finance and Economics from Northwest Missouri State University, where he was Varsity Tennis Captain and graduated Magna Cum Laude. In addition, Director Njavwa received an MBA from Georgetown University in 2012.
Director Njavwa joined the Access Bank Board of Directors after serving as a Board Member on the Cavmont Bank Board of Directors for three (3) years.
