Adesuwa Asemota

Adesuwa Asemota is a highly accomplished and motivated chartered accountant with over 10 years of progressive experience in the banking industry. She has varying experience spanning banking, accounting systems, internal control, financial statement auditing, and strategic planning.
 
Prior to her appointment as Country Financial officer of Access Bank Zambia Limited, Adesuwa has served as Head, Financial Analyst & Reporting and Lead, Financial Control at Access Bank Plc Nigeria and Ghana respectively.

Among many of her achievements is when she led a team whiles in Access Bank Plc Nigeria to:
Raising $350 million, $400 million, $300 million Eurobond in the international Debt Market in 2012, 2014 and 2016 respectively; Implementation of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standard) reporting; Certified Member Service Quality Ambassador: this involves training selected staff on quality service of the institution.

Adesuwa holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Statistics (Honors) second class upper from the University of Benin, and a Master’s of Science in Economics with MPhil PhD from the University of Ibadan. She is also a Chartered Accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She has also attended the Access Bank Middle Management Program training at the Wharton University of Pennsylvania in the United States of America.
