Kalumbu Nyikosa-Kearns is a strategic sales and marketing professional with over 17 years’ experience in bank operations, relationship management, sales, marketing, communications, and brand management. She has attended various workshops and leadership programmes to support growth in her area of expertise. She holds a Degree in Development Studies and an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Zambia, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration - Finance from The Copperbelt University.
She served as Account Officer and subsequent Head of Sangwapo (Classified Smalls) at The Post Newspaper and later joined Indo Zambia Bank where she worked as a clerk for 5 years before moving to Access Bank Zambia as a Relationship Manager and Team Lead under the Consumer and Commercial Banking Group.
At Entrepreneurs Financial Centre (EFC), she set up the Business Development unit and launched the EFC brand during its transition from Pulse Financial Services Limited (PFSL). Kalumbu also served as Head of Marketing and Communications at EFC before joining Finance Bank Zambia (FBZ) as Retail Manager, overseeing the product and sales function.
Following the merger of FBZ with BancABC, she took on the function of Products and Sales Manager at Atlas Mara Bank, where she was responsible for the harmonization of liabilities and assets products during the integration process. Prior to her rejoining Access Bank Zambia, Kalumbu served as Senior Marketing Specialist at Zanaco and was instrumental in the transformation of the Zanaco brand.
Kalumbu is an active member of the Zamba Institute of Marketing (ZIM) and a Paul Haris Fellow (PHF) under Rotary International. She is the Past President of the Rotary Club of Chilanga (2022-2023) where she was 14th and first female president of the Club. Kalumbu is an avid traveler and promotor of local tourism.
