Mr. Chrispin Chikwashi has over 25 years of international experience in financial services, currently serving as an independent non-executive director and Chair of the Audit Committee at The Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG) in the UK, along with being a member of its Board Risk Committee. He is also a co-opted Governor at Bath Spa University on the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee.
Previously, Director Chikwashi chaired the Audit Committee at African Banking Corporation Zambia until its acquisition by Access Bank Zambia in 2024. His extensive career includes roles such as Managing Director for Audit at GE Capital, Internal Audit Director for Citi across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and Executive Director of Finance for BancABC Zambia. He was also Chief Financial Officer at Citibank Zambia Limited.
Director Chikwashi is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA) in the UK and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from Copperbelt University, an MSc in Strategic Business Management from Manchester Metropolitan University, and a Diploma in Islamic Finance. Additionally, he has an International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Certificate from the American Institute of CPAs.
